In Google Chrome (Windows/iOS)

  1. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner > choose Settings.
  2. Go to Languages.
  3. Make sure Use Google Translate is turned on.
  4. Under Translate into this language, select your target language (for example: English).
  5. Under Always translate these languages, you can add languages that should always be translated automatically.
  6. When you visit a webpage in another language, a translation bar usually appears at the top.
  7. Click Always translate from [language] to make Chrome automatically translate pages written in that language.

In Microsoft Edge (Windows/iOS)

  1. Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner > choose Settings.
  2. Go to Languages.
  3. Turn on Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language I read.
  4. Visit a page in another language — a translation pop-up will appear.
  5. Click Always translate from [language] to automatically translate all future pages in that language.

In Safari (iOS)

  1. Open a webpage in another language.
  2. Tap the Translate icon (or the aA icon on the left side of the address bar).
  3. Choose Translate to [language] (for example: “Translate to English”).
  4. Safari will translate the page immediately.

In Firefox (Windows/iOS)

  1. Visit a webpage in another language.
  2. Firefox usually shows a translation bar at the top. If not, click the Translate icon in the address bar or go to the menu > Translate page.
  3. Choose the source language (the page’s language) and the target language (for example: English).
  4. Click Translate.
  5. Click the gear icon in the translation bar and choose:
    • Always translate from [language] – Firefox will automatically translate every page in that language.
    • Always ask before translating – Firefox will show a prompt first..
  6. You can add or manage languages under: Settings > General > Language and Appearance > Translations.

💡 Tip: After setting this up once, your browser will usually remember your preference and translate pages automatically.

In Google Chrome

  1. Open a webpage in another language.
  2. A bar will appear asking if you’d like to translate it.
  3. Choose Always translate from [language] to automatically translate pages in that language.
  4. You can manage these settings under: Settings > Language > Translation.

In Google Chrome

  1. Go to a webpage in another language.
  2. A translation bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap the three dots (⋯) in the translation bar > choose Always translate from [language] to make this the default setting.
  4. You can also choose Never translate if you want to exclude certain languages from being translated automatically.

In Microsoft Edge

  1. Go to a website in another language.
  2. A pop-up will appear at the bottom of the screen with translation options.
  3. Tap Always translate from [language] to automatically translate that language in the future.
  4. You can manage this under: Settings > General > Languages.

In Safari

  1. Open a webpage in another language.
  2. Tap the aA icon in the address bar on the left.
  3. Choose Translate to [language] (for example, “Translate to English”).
  4. Safari will translate the page instantly.

In Firefox

  1. Tap the aA icon in the address bar.
  2. Choose Translate to [language].
  3. For automatic translation, you can install a Safari extension such as Microsoft Translator or Immersive Translate.

💡 Tip: Each browser may remember your translation preferences, so pages in the same language will often translate automatically the next time you visit.
